Zacco taliensis is a Cyprinidae from SW China. Its calm temperament and broad diet make it one of the more forgiving residents of a community tank. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 16.9–24.8 cm. Singly or in small groups depending on temperament. Stable water, regular partial changes and a varied diet cover nearly everything it needs. Maintain 10–22 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
