斯氏高原鳅为条鳅科鱼类，温和的底栖鱼，喜在细沙中翻掘，原生分布于青藏高原水系。夜行性底栖鱼，细沙底床能让它展现自然觅食行为。成体约 12.1–17.8 cm，小群 5 尾以上，单独饲养易胆怯，适宜水温 16–20 °C。细沙胜过一切造景。
From the waters of Tibetan Plateau waters comes Triplophysa stoliczkai, a member of the family Nemacheilidae. A sand-sifting bottom resident most active after the lights fade. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 12.1–17.8 cm. Loose groups of 5+; loneliness makes them shy. Choose sand over gravel, feed after dusk, and keep ammonia at zero — loaches punish neglect visibly. Maintain 16–20 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
