双带缟鰕虎为虾虎鱼科鱼类，温和，但对同类有领地意识，原生分布于中国东部至朝鲜半岛、日本。底栖栖息者，终日穿梭于岩石、缸壁与洞穴之间，造景决定它的性情。成体约 8.2–12.1 cm，一穴一鱼，各得其所则相安无事，适宜水温 10–25 °C。一鱼一洞，万事大吉。
