双带缟鰕虎为虾虎鱼科鱼类，温和，但对同类有领地意识，原生分布于中国东部至朝鲜半岛、日本。底栖栖息者，终日穿梭于岩石、缸壁与洞穴之间，造景决定它的性情。成体约 8.2–12.1 cm，一穴一鱼，各得其所则相安无事，适宜水温 10–25 °C。一鱼一洞，万事大吉。
From the waters of E China, Korea & Japan comes Tridentiger bifasciatus, a member of the family Gobiidae. A benthic percher that spends its days darting between rock, glass and cave — structure decides its temperament. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 8.2–12.1 cm. A bonded pair claims one cave; keep others elsewhere. Caves, stable pairs and clean sand keep this fish far calmer than open, bare tanks ever will. Maintain 10–25 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A rewarding species for the aquarist who reads before buying.
