菊黄东方鲀为鲀科鱼类，有个性，建议单养，原生分布于中国东部沿海及江河。喙齿终身生长——硬壳猎物不是零食，而是必需品。成体约 26.2–38.5 cm，单养为主，连一对都会争夺最佳领地，适宜水温 24–28 °C。定期喂螺，牙口才不坏。
Takifugu flavidus is a Tetraodontidae from coasts & rivers of E China. Its beak never stops growing — hard-shelled prey is not a treat but maintenance. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 26.2–38.5 cm. Singly; even pairs argue over prime territory. Offer snails routinely, keep water pristine, and choose tankmates (if any) larger than its interest. Maintain 24–28 °C at pH 7.5–8.5. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
