武夷吻虾虎为虾虎鱼科鱼类，安静的底栖居民，领域边界分明，原生分布于中国华东、华南山溪。每块石头都是房产；给每尾一个洞，缸里就太平。成体约 3.2–4.6 cm，建议单养或成对，每尾都要有自己的洞穴，适宜水温 18–26 °C。一鱼一洞，万事大吉。
