戴氏副搏鱼为丝足鲈科鱼类，多数温和，游速缓慢，不宜与喧闹鱼混养，原生分布于婆罗洲及马来半岛。会到水面吞咽空气，因此温暖、静水、草密的水体才是家。成体约 2.8–4.1 cm，一对松散的伴侣关系，造景可隔开 rival，适宜水温 25–27 °C。水流要小，水草要浮。
Parosphromenus deissneri, a member of the family Osphronemidae, is native to Borneo & the Malay Peninsula. It gulps air at the surface, so warm, still, plant-covered water is home — and cold drafts are not. It patrols the upper water. Adults reach 2.8–4.1 cm. A pair bonds loosely; keep décor between rivals. Give it warm, gentle water, floating plants and quiet neighbours; filter flow should barely ripple the surface. Maintain 25–27 °C at pH 6–8. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
