三角鲂为鲤科鱼类，温和，宜与体型相近的和平鱼混养，原生分布于中国。性情平和、食性杂，是混养缸里最省心的居民之一。成体约 30–60 cm，4–6 尾可观察自然行为，适宜水温 10–20 °C。稳水、换水、杂食，足矣。
