Liobagrus reini, a member of the family Amblycipitidae, comes from East Asia, where it inhabits cool, clear hill streams under stones. Peaceful, nocturnal bottom-dweller and carnivore; sinking frozen and live foods, it grows to 11.2–16.5 cm and adapts well to a properly set-up aquarium in the 10–22 °C range.
