双须缺鳍鲇为鲶科鱼类，和平的底栖巨鱼，对中上层生活毫无兴趣，原生分布于中北美洲。触须状的须子像手指一样阅读沙地，粗糙底砂会慢慢磨损它。成体约 11.2–16.5 cm，共用一块缸底，数量勿多，适宜水温 21–26 °C。沉底饲料，关灯后再喂。
Siluridae species Kryptopterus bicirrhis comes from 中北美洲. A whiskered bottom resident whose day begins when the lights go off. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 11.2–16.5 cm. Pairs for the small species; solitaries for the big. Feed sinking foods after lights-out, keep the sand soft, and never let nitrate climb unnoticed. Maintain 21–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Undemanding once its core needs are met.
