斑鳠为鲿科鱼类，夜行性居多，白天安静潜伏，原生分布于中国南方水系。触须状的须子像手指一样阅读沙地，粗糙底砂会慢慢磨损它。成体约 54.8–80.4 cm，小型种可成对，大型种单养，适宜水温 16–25 °C。沉底饲料，关灯后再喂。
Bagridae species Hemibagrus guttatus comes from southern China. A whiskered bottom resident whose day begins when the lights go off. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 54.8–80.4 cm. Keep bottom stock light — they share one floor. Feed sinking foods after lights-out, keep the sand soft, and never let nitrate climb unnoticed. Maintain 16–25 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
