叉牙虾虎为虾虎鱼科鱼类，除争夺藏身处外基本平和，原生分布于日本及朝鲜半岛。底栖栖息者，终日穿梭于岩石、缸壁与洞穴之间，造景决定它的性情。成体约 10.5–15.4 cm，成对或小群饲养，需提供充足藏身处，适宜水温 18–26 °C。一鱼一洞，万事大吉。
Gobiidae species Gymnogobius urotaenia comes from Japan & Korea. A benthic percher that spends its days darting between rock, glass and cave — structure decides its temperament. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 10.5–15.4 cm. Pairs or small groups with ample hiding spots. Caves, stable pairs and clean sand keep this fish far calmer than open, bare tanks ever will. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Undemanding once its core needs are met.
