Erpetoichthys calabaricus, a member of the family Polypteridae, is native to 非洲. Its calm temperament and broad diet make it one of the more forgiving residents of a community tank. It swims in mid-water. Adults reach 27.8–40.7 cm. Keep in a group of 4–6 for natural behaviour. Stable water, regular partial changes and a varied diet cover nearly everything it needs. Maintain 22–28 °C at pH 6–8. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
