缅甸雷龙为鳢科鱼类，幼鱼可群居，成体独霸一方，原生分布于缅甸。会呼吸空气的鳢类，严密缸盖与遮荫水面是保命配置。成体约 6–8.8 cm，幼鱼群游，成体单养，适宜水温 22–27 °C。缸盖必须上锁。
Channa burmanica, a member of the family Channidae, is native to Myanmar. Its name is honest: this fish breathes air, so a tight lid and a shaded surface are survival gear. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 6–8.8 cm. Juveniles group; adults rule a territory alone. Give it cover, clean water and a lid that latches — snakeheads explore any gap above the waterline. Maintain 22–27 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
