中华乌塘鳢为塘鳢科鱼类，安静的底栖居民，领域边界分明，原生分布于中国。底栖栖息者，终日穿梭于岩石、缸壁与洞穴之间，造景决定它的性情。成体约 16.5–24.2 cm，建议单养或成对，每尾都要有自己的洞穴，适宜水温 22–28 °C。一鱼一洞，万事大吉。
From the waters of 中国 comes Bostrychus sinensis, a member of the family Eleotridae. A benthic percher that spends its days darting between rock, glass and cave — structure decides its temperament. It swims in mid-water. Adults reach 16.5–24.2 cm. Singly or in pairs; every fish needs its own refuge. Caves, stable pairs and clean sand keep this fish far calmer than open, bare tanks ever will. Maintain 22–28 °C at pH 7–8. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
