酒红搏鱼为丝足鲈科鱼类，多数温和，游速缓慢，不宜与喧闹鱼混养，原生分布于东南亚。会到水面吞咽空气，因此温暖、静水、草密的水体才是家。成体约 4.2–6.2 cm，一对松散的伴侣关系，造景可隔开 rival，适宜水温 24–27 °C。水流要小，水草要浮。
Betta coccina, a member of the family Osphronemidae, is native to Southeast Asia. It gulps air at the surface, so warm, still, plant-covered water is home — and cold drafts are not. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 4.2–6.2 cm. A pair bonds loosely; keep décor between rivals. Give it warm, gentle water, floating plants and quiet neighbours; filter flow should barely ripple the surface. Maintain 24–27 °C at pH 4–6. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
