Cyprinidae species Saurogobio dumerili comes from China. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 18–26.4 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 12–22 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A rewarding species for the aquarist who reads before buying.
