Ptychobarbus kaznakovi is a Cyprinidae from Tibetan Plateau waters. In the wild it prefers clear streams and rivers over gravel; in the aquarium it stays generally peaceful but predatory on small fish. Plan on 43.1–63.3 cm of adult fish at 18–26 °C. In a community tank it pairs well with Cold-water catfish of similar bulk.
