Scaly Osman（Diptychus maculatus）はコイ科に分類される淡水魚で、チベット高原の水域に分布する。成魚は約 52.5–77 cm、適水温 18–26 °C。
Diptychus maculatus, a member of the family Cyprinidae, comes from Tibetan Plateau waters, where it inhabits clear streams and rivers over gravel. Calm giants; anything swallowable is food and accepts most foods; give it greens as well as protein, it grows to 52.5–77 cm and adapts well to a properly set-up aquarium in the 18–26 °C range. In a community tank it pairs well with Cold-water catfish of similar bulk.
