Devario regina, a member of the family Cyprinidae, is native to South & Southeast Asia. Built for speed in clear streams — colour, condition and courage all track water quality. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 8.1–11.9 cm. Tight schooler; the more the livelier. Cover the surface with floating plants, keep the school large, and maintain spotless water. Maintain 23–25 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
