Cyprinidae species Acrossocheilus yunnanensis comes from 中国. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It uses the whole water column. Adults reach 15–22 cm. Singly or in small groups depending on temperament. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 15–25 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
