Cyprinidae species Toxabramis swinhonis comes from China. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It uses the whole water column. Adults reach 11.2–16.5 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A rewarding species for the aquarist who reads before buying.
