From the waters of 中国 comes Squaliobarbus curriculus, a member of the family Cyprinidae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It uses the whole water column. Adults reach 36.6–53.7 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
