Cyprinidae species Sinocyclocheilus anophthalmus comes from cave waters of Yunnan & Guizhou, China. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It uses the whole water column. Adults reach 11.2–16.5 cm. Keep in a group of 4–6 for natural behaviour. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
