A Cyprinidae species: Dawkinsia filamentosa lives active throughout the water column over gravel. Mostly peaceful; some species nip fins. Adults reach 13.5–19.8 cm. It is one of the aquarium-kept Dawkinsia species we profile, alongside Dawkinsia singhala, Dawkinsia arulius, Dawkinsia assimilis.
