From the waters of Japan & Korea comes Pungtungia herzi, a member of the family Cyprinidae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 11.7–17.2 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
