From the waters of 非洲 comes Polypterus senegalus, a member of the family Polypteridae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 52.5–77 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 25–28 °C at pH 6–8. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
