Percocypris pingi, a member of the family Cyprinidae, comes from Yunnan, China, where it inhabits clear streams and rivers over gravel. Generally peaceful but predatory on small fish and omnivore leaning carnivorous — pellets plus fish and vegetable matter, it grows to 33–48.4 cm and adapts well to a properly set-up aquarium in the 18–26 °C range. Other Percocypris species in our database include Percocypris tchangi.
