From the waters of 中国 comes Microphysogobio amurensis, a member of the family Cyprinidae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 8.6–12.7 cm. Singly or in small groups depending on temperament. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 14–22 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
