Descripción de la especie
Macrotocinclus affinis is a Loricariidae from Brazil, South America. Its barbels read the sand like fingers; coarse gravel slowly wears them down. It swims in mid-water. Adults reach 6.8–10 cm. Singly or in small groups depending on species size. Provide soft substrate, hiding tubes, and food that reaches the bottom before tankmates finish it. Maintain 20–26 °C at pH 6–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
