Leuciscus waleckii, a member of the family Cyprinidae, is native to Amur basin. Its calm temperament and broad diet make it one of the more forgiving residents of a community tank. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 27.8–40.7 cm. Small groups recommended. Stable water, regular partial changes and a varied diet cover nearly everything it needs. Maintain 10–20 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Best suited to a keeper who can match its natural water.
