Hypophthalmichthys nobilis is a Cyprinidae from 中国. Its calm temperament and broad diet make it one of the more forgiving residents of a community tank. It uses the whole water column. Adults reach 109.5–160.6 cm. Singly or in small groups depending on temperament. Stable water, regular partial changes and a varied diet cover nearly everything it needs. Maintain 18–28 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Undemanding once its core needs are met.
