From the waters of 中国 comes Hemiculter tchangi, a member of the family Cyprinidae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 18.8–27.6 cm. Keep in a group of 4–6 for natural behaviour. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 18–22 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
