Red Rainbowfish es un pez arcoíris de agua dulce originario de Nueva Guinea. Alcanza 9–13.2 cm; temperatura 29–30 °C.
Glossolepis incisus, a member of the family Melanotaeniidae, comes from New Guinea, where it inhabits warm freshwater streams and lakes. Calm, active shoaler; colour deepens with age and unfussy omnivore; colour foods enhance the shine, it grows to 9–13.2 cm and adapts well to a properly set-up aquarium in the 29–30 °C range. In a community tank it pairs well with Other rainbowfish and large peaceful tetras.
