Loricariidae species Farlowella acus comes from 南美洲. A whiskered bottom resident whose day begins when the lights go off. It swims in mid-water. Adults reach 6.8–10 cm. Keep bottom stock light — they share one floor. Feed sinking foods after lights-out, keep the sand soft, and never let nitrate climb unnoticed. Maintain 20–26 °C at pH 6–7.5. Undemanding once its core needs are met.
