Boraras naevus, a member of the family Cyprinidae, comes from Southeast Asia, where it inhabits clear streams and rivers over gravel. Peaceful, restless swimmers that use every inch and small surface-oriented omnivore; flakes and tiny live foods, it grows to 1–1.4 cm and adapts well to a properly set-up aquarium in the 25–28 °C range. Other Boraras species in our database include Boraras brigittae, Boraras maculatus, Boraras merah.
