Aphyocypris chinensis is a Cyprinidae from 中国. Built for speed in clear streams — colour, condition and courage all track water quality. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 4.5–6.6 cm. Shoaling; 8–10+ for constant motion and confidence. Cover the surface with floating plants, keep the school large, and maintain spotless water. Maintain 18–26 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. Water quality and diet matter more than décor.
