Cyprinidae species Acrossocheilus kreyenbergii comes from southern Chinese mountain streams. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 11.6–17.1 cm. Small groups recommended. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 15–25 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A solid choice for a well-planned community tank.
