From the waters of 中国 comes Elopichthys bambusa, a member of the family Cyprinidae. A adaptable species that forgives beginner mistakes more readily than most. It lives on the bottom. Adults reach 30–120 cm. Keep in a group of 4–6 for natural behaviour. Give it clean water and room to behave naturally, and it will largely care for itself. Maintain 10–20 °C at pH 7–7.5.
