It swims in mid-water. Adults reach 4.9–7.2 cm. One male to two or three females spreads the attention. Keep water hard and alkaline, plant densely, and expect fry — forever. Maintain 18–22 °C at pH 6.5–7.5. A rewarding species for the aquarist who reads before buying.
